Mrs Irene Mondo

Irene Mondo used her Li Tim-Oi Foundation grant to train in adult literacy. Irene lives on the outskirts of Kampala where, a few years ago, she started up an adult literacy centre in her own home. Since then, her husband has built an extension onto their house which now contains the classrooms, a small library and a reading room.
